About Project LAMP

Project LAMP (Learning Apps Media Partnership) is a children’s educational media initiative developed through a partnership of Hispanic Information and Telecommunications Network (HITN), Callaway Digital Arts, and the Michael Cohen Group.

As part of the “Ready To Learn” grant, Project LAMP is working collaboratively with the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Innovation and Improvement to develop and evaluate media-based educational interventions to meet the literacy and math challenges faced by early learners as part of the effort to close the achievement gap.

Project LAMP will develop three unique sets of applications for children ages three-to-eight years old, whose curricula are aligned with the Common Core Standards. While developed to benefit all children, the target audience for these products is children living in low-income circumstances, as well as their caregivers and educators.

On this site you will find information on project partners, national advisors, and the new media properties, along with regular updates on community events and activities related to Project LAMP.

We invite you to be part of the conversation!
